Amma’s Kitchen

An Authentic South Indian Restaurant

Amma’s Kitchen

established in 2016 by Dinesh Kumar Lakshmanan, a young man from Thanjavur, draws inspiration from "Amma Unavagam," a charitable initiative by Selvi J. Jayalalitha, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, India. Echoing this vision, Amma's Kitchen in the USA and Canada offers hygienic food at affordable cost like $1 Idly, $1 Vada, $3 Idli Vada combo, $5 Chapati Kurma, $5 Breakfast Combo, and $5 Pongal, supporting Indian students and elders. These items, dubbed Amma's Specials, have maintained their prices since inception, enabling us to consistently uphold this pricing strategy to aid those in need.
